OK, guys, place your bets. Which of these three cars that are the alpha dogs of their respective tiers will come out on top in 4-lap races at Mount Panorama, Macau, Kyalami, The ‘Ring, Laguna Seca, and Potrero de los Funes?

Macca - Protero and Laguna and probably the Ring

Viper - Macau and Bathurst

The Lotus might have a chance around Protero

These are primarily power tracks. Macau and Panorama are basically long straights punctuated by the occasional corner so the truck motor with a body takes them. The Ring is mostly high speed sweepers and has that 2 mile straight towards the end so top speed is important, but the McLaren’s aero will help keep it ahead til there. The Lotus’ only chance is Protero since it’s the one where top speed and aero matter least.

I actually think the Lotus will take Macau... just. It’s smaller than the ACR, which is useful for maneuvering Melco Hairpin and the corners before it, and I reckon it can defend better when the streets gets more constricted.

Alright anyone voting for the Viper please remember that the P1 LM still has 986hp, a full 340+hp more. Plus it probably has more downforce and less weight. Granted it was faster than the original P1 but im pretty sure the LM can find 2 seconds. The Lotus only has a chance if its a really right course but on any straightaway... nope

ACR will get to 60 faster and keep going from there faster though. If anything, the Lotus won’t be able to get past the truck engine.

I don’t know the track layout of some of those tracks, but I’d want to see if Top Gear or whoever does a test of this. If any of those tracks Protero, etc are like Fujimi Kaido then the Lotus is destroying the other cars. :P

(I suspect Dodge and Mclaren swapping wins with Lotus getting a couple of wins in there)
